Kate Watson is a visual artist, currently living and working in London.
Her practice combines collaboration, education, and social engagement, working in photography, print and text. Her work is an ongoing exploration of representation, shared authorship and the interactions, negotiations and power structures involved in the production of images.
Kate has worked extensively in the UK and internationally to develop and facilitate socially engaged art projects with communities and individuals, generating work through participatory research, collaboration and collective action.
Since 2015, Kate has worked as Senior Projects Manager at PhotoVoice, developing and delivering participatory photography and storytelling programmes with under-represented communities across the UK and internationally.
